GCL Tech's commitment to research over the past decade has paid off with the successful development of FBR granular silicon, our breakthrough core product that fills the gap of the 100,000-ton granular silicon production capacity in the world.FBR granular silicon has obtained carbon footprint certification from China, France, and Germany, breaking the carbon footprint record previously held by Siemens method rod silicon and establishing itself as the new benchmark for carbon footprint in the international semiconductor materials industry.

Exquisite craftsmanship for the quality of products

FBR granular silicon feature a total metal impurity content of 5 elements ≤ 0.5 ppbw, with over 95% of products meeting this standard. For 18 elements, the total metal impurity content is ≤ 1 ppbw, with more than 91% of products meeting this criterion. Additionally, more than 97% of the products have turbidity ≤ 100 NTU, while over 41% of the products achieve a turbidity of ≤ 70 NTU.

In 2025, GCL Tech’s granular silicon was certified by the French ADEME, with a conservative CO₂ equivalent calculation of 14.441 kg per unit used in downstream production. Compared to the optimal level of rod-shaped silicon, granular silicon reduces CO₂ emissions by approximately 10.48 million tons annually, contributing a potential carbon reduction value of over 939 million RMB to China each year.
