GCL Tech's commitment to research over the past decade has paid off with the successful development of FBR granular silicon, our breakthrough core product that fills the gap of the 100,000-ton granular silicon production capacity in the world.FBR granular silicon has obtained carbon footprint certificates in both China and France, breaking the carbon footprint record held by rod silicon produced using the Siemens method and becoming the new benchmark of global pan-semiconductor materials in terms of carbon footprint.

Exquisite craftsmanship for the quality of products

Products with a total content of 5 metal elements ≤ 0.5 ppbw account for 78% of total products. Products with a total content of 18 metal elements ≤ 3 ppbw account for 85% of total products. Granular silicon turbidity is comprehensively controlled within 120 NTU.

Since the carbon footprint of 1 kilogram of FBR granular silicon was certified by French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) to be equivalent to 37 kilograms of carbon dioxide in 2021, every 10,000 tons of granular silicon produced for downstream production will reduce CO2 emissions by about 240,000 tons than rod-shaped silicon produced by the optimal process, creating over RMB 129 million of carbon reduction value for society.
