GCL-Poly silicon particles officially reach 10,000t capacity
On February 3, GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited officially announced to the world during online live broadcasting that Jiangsu Zhongneng Polysilicon Technology Development Co., Ltd., an affiliate entity responsible for R&D and production of silicon particles, improved annual effective capacity from 6,000 tons to 10,000 tons, which represents an official upgrade into 10,000t capacity scale, adding another science and technology innovation matrix in the PV raw materials field of China.
At 10 a.m., the first batch of silicon particles products under the new capacity of Jiangsu Zhongneng was officially launched. At the commissioning ceremony, a number of downstream clients made real-time certification of the silicon particles products of GCL-Poly. Relevant person in charge of silicon particles team of GCL-Poly replied to and interacted with global investors with regard to issues of concern. Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited, and relevant business owners attended the event.
The successful improvement of the production capacity of silicon particles serves as positive evidence that on the basis of technology research & development and process improvement in the recent decade, GCL-Poly has completely acquired various mature processes and mass production techniques related to silicon particles. By virtue of construction and operation management of the 10,000t project, GCL-Poly has acquired leading technological advantage and scaled replication ability in a number of fields, including planning and construction of projects, AI-based operation of core equipment, digital control of product manufacturing safety, and systematic certification of product quality.
